Hi my names James and this is my portfolio website. If you’d like to get to know a bit about me then read on.
I am twenty one and am currently studying in my 2nd year at Teesside University for a BSc in Computer Games Science.
My main interests in programming are Audio, Animation and Simulation, Shaders and 2D/3D Graphics.
I have always had an interest in electronics and how things work and so from a very early age I began taking things apart just to see how they function to then put them back together. When I was a young boy I used to spend hours of my time constructing things from Meccano and K’NEX and now as an adult this has developed into such things as building my own computers.
I have always enjoyed successfully making something work, whether that is mending a piece of broken equipment or an algorithm within my programming.
As well as creating electronic things I also take pleasure in creating life and so have dedicated a lot of my personal time to gardening and the rearing and breeding of mice.
I have always been interested in puzzles and patterns and have taken these and incorporated them into my work such as in art and music which I enjoy creating.
In some ways I am unconventional and like to experiment with ordinary things to get a different result. For example, as I have a keen interest in growing plants I decided that instead of using a functional flower pot, I would use a teapot instead.
Please take the time to have a look at my portfolio, everything on this website is 100% my own work unless stated.
